Evergreen Hills is a family oriented Christmas tree farm operated by Jim and
Heather Zywiczynski and their three young children. Our tree farm is located in
the hills above the town of Holland approximately 40 minutes from Buffalo and 20
minutes from Arcade (see Directions).
Our opening day is Friday November 29th. Thereafter we will be open every Saturday and Sunday (November 30-December 15th) from 9:00-4:30. Please note that we will not be open December 21st and 22nd.
We have approximately 10,000 trees on 30 acres of land. Jim began planting the
trees in 1984 and have planted ever since. We started selling trees in 1997 and
officially opened as Evergreen Hills Christmas Tree Farm in 1999.
We offer a wide variety of you-cut and pre-cut trees to choose from, including
Blue spruce, White spruce, Scotch pine, Douglas fir, Canaan fir, Fraser fir and
Balsam fir. Please see our Tree page for more specific information and a summary
of each tree.
Our fresh pre-cut trees are kept inside two pole barns so they are standing and
out of the weather. They are all individually tagged with approximate size and
price. Jim and our helpers are always willing to help you choose the best tree.
We supply bow saws for your use in cutting down the tree. Once cut, Jim and our
helpers will pick your tree up in our tractor and wagon and bring you to
the parking area. We then bale it in a soft mesh material for easy travel and
setup. You are then welcomed into Heather's Craft Shoppe to enjoy a hot drink
and candy canes while browsing through the warm holiday gift shop featuring a
variety of handmade gifts including pine-cone wreaths, ornaments, natural
decorations, frames and wooden toys.
We also make fresh evergreen wreaths and swags. The wreaths are made in a variety of sizes. These are beautifùlly
decorated with a red bow, pine cone clusters and faux red berries. Upon request,
larger size wreaths and centerpieces can be made.
We accept cash and checks as well as MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
Evergreen Hills is a family-oriented free farm where we encourage families to
take their time in selecting a tree. We understand that getting a Christmas tree
can be a wonderful family tradition and a memorable event. Therefore, we
encourage families to sled, play hide-&-seek and snowball games or just enjoy
the beautiful setting with a walk through the trees. It is a common sight to
see snowballs sailing through the air, families laughing and kids of all ages
sliding down the pathways.
We look forward to meeting you and your family and becoming part of you holiday
traditions.
